  • 2 tsp. butter

  • 100ml vegetable oil

  • 4 medium or 3 big onions

  • Pinch of sugar

  • 4 cloves of garlic finely chopped

  • 1kg chestnuts mushrooms, sliced

  • 2tsp Hungarian paprika powder

  • 2tsp Hungarian paprika puree

  • 1 vegetable stock cube

(dissolve in 200ml of hot water)

  • Salt, pepper, pinch of sugar

  • 600ml of double fresh cream

  • 5 tsp. corn flower mix with 100ml of cold water

  • 2tbsp of chopped parsley

  • Melt butter with oil in bigger pot add chopped onion, pinch of sugar and fry until is soft.

  • Reduce heat, add chopped garlic, fry for 1min, add sliced mushrooms, paprika powder, paprika puree, stir well and add vegetable stock.

  • Reheat, add salt and pepper to taste, cover and cook for 5min.

  • Remove the pot from the heat, add fresh cream, stir well, mix the corn flower with water and slowly pour to the mushroom stew, stirring constantly or until stew has thickened and is smooth.

  • Add chopped parsley stir well and serve at once.
